About

As many other people who get involved with alternative medicine, my life was miraculously changed by a practitioner who transformed the way I thought about health. I was one of those naysayers who thought if natural treatment worked, everyone would be doing it. We always assume the longer line has the better product and I’ve been in the long line of allopathic medicine for most of my life. It’s human nature to look to others, follow, and assume you are going in the right direction.

Backed by Carnegie and Rockefeller, the Flexner Report (1910) standardized allopathic medicine and the use of their patentable pharmaceutical drugs as the “correct” way of practicing medicine. At the same time, the report discredited and tried to destroy any approach to medicine that wasn’t pharmaceutically based. I now realize that many factors (fear, money, ego, power, social pressure to mention a few) still contribute to the suppression of alternative therapies.

For those of you who are just beginning this journey, this will shed light on a different path. I’m not a doctor, just someone who doesn’t comprehend why we aren’t all incorporating natural practices in our lives. Hopefully, you will find this site to be a fast track to a new understanding to your wellness. I am not an expert, so to tell the story, I have chosen videos from experts and people who have already shared their experiences.

It is up to us to make a real change. Let’s share our experiences and pave the way to integrate these practices into our healthcare. Please send in your selfies!

To your health and wellness!
Stephanie
